A few things in fandom that have made me flail happily lately...

Fic Recs

Betrayal is a Thorny Crown (You Wear It Well) by snegurochka_lee (Teddy/James Sirius, NC-17, 8,800 words)
Summary: Five years after taking his fifteen-year-old godbrother's virginity, Teddy has done everything he can to avoid James. He is definitely not supposed to look this good when Teddy finally runs into him again, but Teddy is pretty sure the kid will never forgive him for disappearing like that.

Notes: It's tricky to characterise based on one canon appearance and one line of dialogue. It's even more difficult when it applies to both characters in your pairing. Add to that writing based on someone else's story, which comes along with its own characterisation and versions of the characters and their dynamics that might or might now coincide with your own. There are many reasons why I love snegurochka_lee's writing to death, not least of all her capability to make any pairings work for me, for the characters to jump off the page, and for the sex to be hot! hot! hot! I can easily see myself converted to a Teddy/James Sirius fan because I feel I know them now. She has that way about her writing, and I just can't get enough.

Summary: It all starts when Draco finds a sketchbook in the library. '8th year' fic.

Notes: adsfdgfhjhfdsas;lk I can't avoid being incoherent at this point because OMG FANDOM I LUV YEE! I just--I don't know. I have no words. Arms flailing, eyes trying to eat the awesomeness on my screen, and I--I-oh, my. Everyone needs to stop doing whatever it is they are doing at this exact moment and head on over to read what is probably the most WONDERFULLY WELL-WRITTEN story in the history of the universe OMG!!one1!

Notes: This would qualify as an I-love-fandom-OMG! moment for sure. There is neither enough sequential art floating around, nor as much next-gen pairing variation as I would like. This makes me very, very happy.
